Lenin Centennial Square

The 100th Anniversary Square of V.I.Lenin's Birth Centenary is situated in the center of Ul'yanovsk, on the high bank of Volga River. It is part of the city's Soviet modernist ensemble and connected to the historical district via an esplanade formerly known as Lenin's Square. Here stands the main facade of Lenin Memorial Hall and a sculptural composition dedicated to the Ulyanov family. The square is included in the route through Lenin's sites of the city and serves as an important architectural element of Ul'yanovsk.
