Nariman Narimanov Monument

The monument to Nariman Narimanov was installed in Leninsky District of Uljanovsk on his namesake avenue. It was opened on December 9th, 1977. In its composition there is a bas-relief used against the backdrop of a stylized banner made from polished red granite. The monument reflects historical ties between the city and Azerbaijan and is dedicated to the outstanding statesman, writer and journalist.
