M. A. Ul'yanova Monument with Son Vladimir

On Lenin Square in Uljanovsk there stands a monument to Maria Alexandrovna Uljanova with her son Volodia. It is dedicated to the childhood of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin and symbolizes family memory of his youthful years. The sculptural composition was unveiled in 1970 and is part of the city's memorial zone. The monument honors the centenary of Vladimir Il'ich's birth.
