Hero Tankmen Uljanovsk Monument

The monument to hero tankers from Uljanovsk is situated at the entrance to Victory Park in Uljanovsk. It honors tankers from Uljanovsk who fell in battles for their motherland. Annually, commemorative events take place here on Victory Day. Opened to mark the 30th anniversary of World War II victory, officially unveiled on May 8, 1975. Linked with the history of two local tank schools included in the city's historical military route. Part of the memorial area within the park.
