Y Museum Monument

In Uljanovsk, on Novy Venec Boulevard, there is a monument to the letter "Yo". It was opened on September 4, 2005 and created by artist Alexander Zinin. The base of the monument consists of four granite slabs, each weighing about 500 kg. The monument is mentioned in various television programs and animated materials related to the city. Its installation is connected with the history of introducing the letter "Yo" into Russian writing.
