Bogdan Khitrov Monument

The monument to Bogdan Khitrov is installed on the Cathedral Square in Uljanovsk. The height of the composition is about 6.5 meters and includes a horse statue of an outstanding person. The face of the sculpture was recreated using artistic reconstruction. The monument was opened to celebrate the 360th anniversary of the founding of Simbirsk, while the idea for its creation emerged as early as 2000. In 2003, Bogdan Khitrov was awarded the title of honorary citizen of the city. On the banners decorating the monument, the image of the Face of the Invisible Savior is depicted.
