Victory Day Monument 30th Anniversary

In the center of the square, there stands a tall five-sided obelisk commemorating the 30th anniversary of Victory, about 47 meters high, symbolizing the 30th anniversary of victory in World War II. At the lower level, an Eternal Flame is installed. The top part of the monument is crowned with a voluminous five-pointed star. The memorial is complemented by a sculptural group dedicated to war heroes. The obelisk is situated within the architectural ensemble of Goncharova and Minayev streets and is one of the most prominent monuments of the city.
