Urban Planning and Architecture of Simbirsk-Ulyanovsk Museum

The Museum "Urban Planning and Architecture of Simbirsk-Ulyanovsk" is located in the house where the Ulyanov family lived in 1876–1878. The exposition is dedicated to the history of the city's development from the founding of Simbirsk in 1648 to the 20th century. The museum houses elements of architectural decor, stove tiles, and features a model of the Gostiny Dvor, as well as displays photographs of preserved and lost buildings. The institution opened in this building in 2001.
