Archaeology of Simbirsk Region Museum

The Museum "Archaeology of Simbirsk Region" is situated at Lev Tolstoy Street, 67 in Ulyanovsk city. Visitors can explore archaeological discoveries and reconstructions depicting the region's history prior to its incorporation into the Moscow state. Special focus is given to Finn-Ugric tribes, Imen'kovtsy and early Bolgar culture. Exhibitions explain the origins of Simbirsk city and the development of ancient Bulgaria, showcasing the settlement patterns of early Bolgar tribes.
