Headquarters Industry Museum of Civil Aviation History

The Headquarters Industry Museum of Civil Aviation is located in Ul'yanovsk on Aviatsionnaya Street, 20a. It features Russia's largest collection of civil aircraft, including a copy of the first domestic plane AK-1 and the famous supersonic passenger jet Tu-144. Visits require prior booking. Exhibits include heavy turboprop planes and the Tu-144 displayed at Paris-Le Bourget airshow in 1977. Special attention is given to the book of honor for veterans of the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation.
