Voznesensko-Georgievskaya Church

The Ascension-Georgian Church in Tyumen is situated on Bergoi Street. It is a federal heritage site built in the style of Siberian baroque in the second half of the 18th century. The upper sanctuary of the church is dedicated to the Ascension of the Lord, while the lower one is devoted to Saint George the Victorious. After being closed during the Soviet period, the church was returned to the Russian Orthodox Church towards the end of the 20th century.
