N.M. Nemtsov Sq.

Nemtsov Name Square is situated in the center of Tyumen at the intersection of Republic Street and Ordzhonikidze Street. It is named after Nikolay Nemtsov, the first chairman of the executive committee of Tyumen regional council. There is a monument to Nemtsov and an operating fountain there. Walking paths and benches have been arranged in the square. Previously, Nemtsov Street was called Shvernika, and the square itself previously belonged to the Trade Square of the city.
