Slovtsov Museum Complex

I.Ya. Slovtsov Museum Complex in Tyumen is located at Sovetskaya Street, 63. Founded in 1879, it is one of the oldest museums in Siberia. The complex includes five branches and a modern building of 29,000 sq. m, opened in 2017. It features one of the best art collections beyond the Urals, including works by famous Russian artists, with regular exhibitions from federal and regional museums. The permanent exhibition "Overture. Gates of Siberia" introduces visitors to the history, culture, and nature of the region.
