Historical Square (Place of Founding of Tyumen)

Historical square in Tyumen - the place of city foundation where in 1586 wooden fortress and first administrative buildings were built. Now there is a museum "City Council" and commemorative stone dedicated to founders of Tyumen. In the XVIII-XIX centuries the square housed city hall, Gostiny Dvor and market. Today it serves as starting point for sightseeing tours around historical center of the city.
