Tula State Arms Museum

The Tula State Arms Museum is situated on October Street in Tula. It was founded in 1873 and is among Russia's oldest museums. The museum features a permanent exhibition detailing the history of firearms and cold weapons from the 14th century to present day. Special attention is given to examples of domestic and foreign production. The museum collection began with an order from Pyotr I establishing the Tula Arms Factory in 1712. The grand opening of the new museum building took place in 2012.
