Lefshin Monument

The Lefsha Monument is located in Tula on Sovetskaya Street, 1a. A bronze sculpture created by Bronislaw Krivokhin depicts the gunsmith symbolizing Tula craftsmanship. The monument was opened in 2009 after being moved to the banks of the Upa River near the Tula Machine Building Plant. It was unveiled on May 28th of that year. Lefsha, a character by Nikolay Leskov, is considered a fictional hero.
