The wooden ruble monument was installed in Tomsk at Novosobornaya Square in 2008. It is made entirely from wood, a traditional building material of the region. The sculpture's height is one hundred times larger than an ordinary ruble and has been entered into "The Book of Russian Records" as the largest wooden coin in the country.
