Томск, проспект Кирова, 7
The Museum of Wooden Architecture in Tomsk opened in May 2009 and is located in an historical mansion designed by architect A. Kryachkov in the modern style. It features over 300 exhibits showcasing regional wooden architecture: window frames, carvings, ornaments, and decorative elements. Visitors can see rare fragments of old decorations, cornices, interiors, and cast-iron stoves. There is also a separate exhibition dedicated to the life and work of architect Kryachkov, as well as another one displaying traditional Russian ethnography and everyday life with a collection of stove flues and samovars.
