Nizhnekamsk City Museum (Comprehensive Museum)

The Nizhnekamsk City Comprehensive Museum is located in a unique building with towers and weather vanes built according to an original design. It was opened on September 22, 1976, to celebrate the city's decade anniversary. The exhibition includes nine thematic halls, including "Merchant's Parlor" about the benefactor family Stakhеевы and the hall "Nizhnekamsk Antiquity" with items from the 17th-19th centuries. There is also a fine arts gallery featuring paintings by local artists and an aquarium called "Coral Reef." Regularly organized are off-site exhibitions and workshops for visitors.
