Voznesensky Monastery

Voznesensky Female Monastery is situated in Tambov on Moskovskaya Street, 37. It is one of the significant Orthodox shrines of the city, connected with its spiritual history and diocese. There are churches and monastic buildings here; the convent operates and remains an important religious center of the region. The monastery complements the route to Orthodox attractions of Tambov together with Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral.
