Water Tower on the Ploshchadka

Water Tower on Plotinka — an 19th century industrial architecture monument built for the needs of Ekaterinburg Railway Repair Shops no later than 1891. Today it serves as a city symbol and place with rich history: since 1995 it's been a branch of Yekaterinburg History Museum; after 2017-2018 reconstruction a guest center, café and souvenir shop opened here. Since November 2018, the second floor houses a museum exhibition telling about the history of Plotinka and the tower itself.
