Sverdlovsk Regional Museum of Local Lore O. E. Kler imeni

Sverdlovsk Regional Museum of Local Lore named after O.E. Kler is situated in Yekaterinburg on Malyshova Street, 46. It is the largest center for studying Ural culture with branches in ten cities of the region. The main attraction is an ancient wooden idol discovered in peat bogs near Yekaterinburg. Exhibits include archaeological finds, ethnographic items, historical artifacts and wax figures of famous personalities. The museum building consists of two houses formerly owned by businessmen and city council.
