1905 Square
Yekaterinburg, 1905 Goda Sq
The 1905 Square is situated in Yekaterinburg and previously was known as Trade Square due to its central trading significance during city construction. It housed wooden churches from the 17th century and the Stone Church of the Epiphany, which became cathedral in the 19th century. In the 20th century, it hosted the Actor's House after relocating there from the former Political Enlightenment House. From the south once stood the Old Trading Palace, while today the square is crossed by Lenin's Prospects from the western and eastern sides.
