Radio Museum named after A.S. Popov

The Radio Museum named after A.S. Popov in Yekaterinburg is located at Rosa Luxemburg Street, 9/11. It features an exhibit with Popov's receiver from 1895, as well as demonstrations of the principles behind Hertz's vibrator, Tesla's transformer, electrophoretic machine, and Morse telegraph. The exhibition covers the history of radio including sections on radio communication during World War II and the activities of Yu. Levitan in Sverdlovsk. The idea for creating the museum originated with Margarita Gulyaeva, the great-niece of the scientist.
