Yekaterinburg History Museum

The Yekaterinburg History Museum is located in a building of the 19th century at Karl Liebknecht Street, 26. It introduces visitors to the city's history from its foundation in 1723 by decree of Pyotr I up to contemporary urban life. The exhibition covers ancient customs, crafts, development of metallurgy and regional cultural traditions. The museum hosts educational programs, temporary exhibitions, lectures and creative meetings featuring documents, photographs and household items from various eras.
