Holy-Savior-on-the-Blood Cathedral

The Blood-House Temple, built in Yekaterinburg on the site of the royal family's murder, stands at 60 meters and is adorned with five golden domes and 14 bells. The architectural style of the building combines Russian-Byzantine tradition. Inside the temple there is a memorial museum telling about the history of the last days of Nikolay II and his relatives. A unique feature of the structure is the possibility to see through the iconostasis the tragic place of the killing. This is an important pilgrimage site for believers from different countries.
