Sevastyanov House

N. I. Sevastyanov's House is situated on Lenina Avenue near the city pond. Built in the early 19th century, it was reconstructed in the 1860s by architect A. I. Paduchy. Currently, the building serves as the residence of the President of Russia and is known for hosting significant international meetings. It is included in the list of Russia's cultural heritage sites. Previously, it housed the Ekaterinburg regional court. The structure appears on modern Russian banknotes. According to local lore, the owner intended to cover the dome with gold but his idea never materialized.
