Stavropol Museum of Cossack History

The Museum of Cossack History in Stavropol opened in 2000 due to efforts by the leadership of the Terek Cossack Army. It became a branch of the Stavropol State Museum-Reserve in 2002. The exhibition focuses on the history of Cossacks in the Northern Caucasus and the Stavropol region. Visitors can learn about the significant role of Cossacks in regional culture and history while combining their museum visit with sightseeing other city attractions.
