Lermontov Square
Kislovodsk, at the entrance to the national park 'Kislovodsky', opposite Kolonnade
Lermontov's platform is situated near the entrance to the national park "Kislovodsky". Its ensemble is made from light yellow sandstone and was reopened for visitation in October 2017 after restoration. There is an observation deck on the upper level and a stone grotto below with decorative grilles. Underneath the poet's portrait there are engraved lines about Caucasus, and the composition features a three-tier staircase. The place is also known because it was restored by Alexander Pushkin and Mikhail Lermontov.
