Kurortny Boulevard

The Kurortny Boulevard in Kislovodsk has a rich history. Initially, it was fenced off with a barrier in autumn 1841. Originally, its design was created by architect I. Bernardazzi. Later, the roadway was paved with stone. The eastern side of the boulevard served as a route for cargo trams until 1966. Over 400 trees were planted here, including 100 linden trees and approximately 200 pyramidal poplars. The boulevard changed names: initially called Vorontsovsky Approach, then Stalin Prospect, and finally October Revolution 50th Anniversary Prospect.
