Cascade Staircase

Kislovodsk, Kislovodsky National Park, entrance from Volodarskogo St

Cascade staircase in Kislovodsk connects city center with park. After restoration of 2015-2016 it restored the look of Soviet neoclassicism. Water flows down through cascades and fountains along its steps, while the upper part is adorned with an eight-column colonnade. Local dolomitized limestone was used as material. Architectural project designed by Luba Zaleskaya and Konstantin Shevchenko.
