The Information and Cultural Center "Solzhenitsyn Museum" is located in Kislovodsk at Borodinsky Lane, 3. The building is recognized as an object of federal cultural heritage and is situated in the house of the writer's aunt Maria Gorina, where he lived from 1920 to 1924. Restoration and opening of the museum took place on December 12, 2014 after transferring the mansion to the State Literary Museum. Alexander Isaevich Solzhenitsyn is a native and honorary citizen of Kislovodsk.
