Blanquette Garden

Blyonie Garden in Smolensk - an old green area with a monument to composer Mikhail Glinka opened in 1885; at the foot of the sculpture by Alexander von Bock there is a new art installation - music sheets on a stand with an engraved fragment from "Chernomor's March" from the opera "Ruslan and Ludmila"; the fence around the monument is decorated with musical staves and quotes from Glinka's works; the total area of the garden is 4.2 hectares.
