Vladimir Monomakh Monument

The monument to Vladimir Monomakh was installed on Sobornaya Hill in Smolensk. It was opened on August 31, 2017 by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. The pedestal is made of granite, the monument is cast from bronze. On each of the four sides of the pedestal there are historical inscriptions related to the life and activities of the prince. The place is connected with the history of the Assumption Cathedral.
