Monument to Hero Pioneers "Be Prepared"

In Pioneers Park, on Barclay de Tolly Street, stands a monument to heroic pioneers "Be Prepared". It is a tall rectangular pillar with three pioneer trumpets on top and a metal banner with writing. The pillar lists the names of Pavlik Morozov, Lena Golikova, Zina Portnova, Marat Kazei, and Volodia Dubinina. The inscription under the monument reads: "Take an example from heroes." The location is near Smolensk Fortress Wall and Victory Square.
