M.O. Mikeshin Monument
Smolensk, Tenisheva Street, near the museum 'Russian Antiquity'
A monument to the artist and sculptor M.O. Mikeshin was erected in Smolensk on October 4, 1985, for the 150th anniversary of his birth. The sculpture is located on a four-sided white stone pedestal, on the front side of which a bronze plaque with the master's name and years of life is attached. The monument was created by sculptor A. Rukavishnikov and architect I.N. Voskresensky. Born in the Smolensk province, Mikeshin is immortalized in bronze near the "Russian Antiquity" museum.
