M.O. Mikeshin Monument
Smolensk, Tenisheva Street, near the museum 'Russian Antiquity'
The monument to Mikhail Osipovich Mikeshin is situated in Smolensk on Tenisheva Street near the museum "Russian Antiquity". It was installed on October 4, 1985 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the artist and sculptor born in the Smolensk province. On the front part of the pedestal there is a bronze plaque with Mikeshin's name and years of life, designed by sculptor A. Rukavishnikov and architect I.N. Voskresenskiy.
