Conenkov Museum of Sculpture

The T.S. Konenkov Sculpture Museum in Smolensk opened on April 30, 1973. Located on Mayakovsky Street, it is dedicated to the work of the famous Russian sculptor born in Karachovichi village, Smolensk region. The museum's collection includes over 90 unique works by the artist, particularly noted for his mythical wooden sculptures. The exhibition was primarily formed from pieces transferred from the artist's Moscow studio.
