Russian Antiquity Museum

The Museum "Russian Antiquity" in Smolensk is situated at Tenisheva Street, 7. It was founded in the early 20th century by Princess Maria Klavdievna Tenisheva and donated to the city in 1911. The exhibition includes over 1300 exhibits depicting folk crafts, decorations and items of everyday life of the Russian people. The building is executed in the style of Russian art according to S. Malutin's project in 1905 and is considered an outstanding architectural monument of the Smolensk region.
