Smolensk State Museum-Reserve Art Gallery

The Art Gallery of Smolensk State Museum-Reserve is located in a historical building of the 19th century at 4 Kommunisticheskaya Street, Smolensk. It houses a unique collection of works by Russian artists including those by Aivazovsky, Kuindzhi, Sеров, Repin, Korovin and other outstanding masters. The collection includes the assembly of Old Russian art by Princess M.K. Tenisheva. The gallery offers visitors a permanent exhibition featuring over 500 exhibits displayed in 14 halls. This building is one of the architectural gems of the city.
