Field Marshal M.I. Kutuzov Statue - Smolensk

In Heroes' Memory Garden, on Dzerzhinskogo Street in Smolensk, there stands a bronze bust of Field Marshal Mikhail Illarionovich Kutuzov created by Maria Strakhovskaya. The monument's height is 1.05 meters. The pedestal and stylobate are made from gray granite. During World War II, the sculpture was dismantled by occupiers and taken to Germany, but later restored to its original location. Initially, the bust was situated on the central alley of the garden. Kutuzov is depicted in his parade uniform with an order sash. The monument was created using funds raised by the Smolensk province.
