Saratov Regional Museum of Local Studies

Saratov Regional Museum of Local Lore, founded in 1886, is the largest museum complex in the region. The collection includes over 400,000 exhibits. Initially it operated as an historical-archaeological museum under the Saratov Learned Archival Commission. By 1889 the collection already contained 144 items.
