N. V. Tsitzin Monument

At the corner of Rakhova and Vavilova streets in Saratov there is a monument to Nikolay Vasilyevich Tsytsin. It was unveiled on September 10, 1985. Tsytsin was born in 1898 in Saratov, later attended Lenin's Workers' Faculty College attached to the university and the agricultural institute of the city. In 1939 he was elected an actual member of the USSR Academy of Sciences, and in 1968 awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor.
