Monument to Revolution Fighters 1917

Monument to Revolution Fighters of 1917 is installed in a garden on Theatre Square in Saratov city opposite the opera and ballet theatre. Granite slab at its base immortalizes the names of buried heroes. Eternal flame has been burning there since 1967. Sculpture made by master V. Perfilov includes figures of red army soldier, machine gunner and banner-bearer with slogan "For Soviet Power!" on his banner. Nearby stands historical Radischev Museum building.
