Yuri A. Gagarin People's Museum

Yuri A. Gagarin Museum in Saratov opened on January 5, 1965, upon Yuri Gagarin's visit and that of his wife. It is dedicated to the Saratov period of the first cosmonaut's life when he studied at the local industrial technical school from 1951 to 1955. Since 1985, the museum has held the honorary title "People's." The exhibition is linked with Gagarin's study years in Saratov and his city visit.
