History Museum of the Saratov Metropolia

The Museum of the History of the Saratov Metropolis, located in Saratov at 92 Michurina Street, was established in 2013 with the blessing of Metropolitan Longin. The main exhibition, based on materials from the State Archive of the Saratov Region, the Regional Museum of Local Lore, and the Archive of Contemporary History, tells about the emergence and strengthening of Orthodoxy in this land. The museum also displays documents about the confiscation of church valuables and the closure of churches, reflecting the history of the Saratov Metropolis.
