Juravli Memorial Complex

Memorial complex "Cranes" is situated on Sohola Hill in Park Pobedy in Saratov. It consists of three forty-meter pylons crowned with twelve silver cranes. They can be seen from afar; their silhouettes are noticeable from different parts of the city and from the Volga River. The monument was opened in 1982 to commemorate Saratov residents who died during World War II.
