Gorky Park

Gorky City Park of Culture and Rest in Saratov is located at ulitsa Chernyshevskogo, 81/83. It is the largest park in the city, connected with its historical and cultural environment. One can see traces of involvement of French prisoners-of-war in creating the park after the War of 1812. Previously this area was Governor Panchulidze's estate and later became part of the city's route reflecting local identity.
