SuburbanPark

Suburban park spreads out on a picturesque high bank of Volga River in Samara. It is one of the oldest large parks of the city, preserving sections of natural Volga slope. Here there are observation platforms with magnificent views of the river and Zhigulyovskie Mountains. The park's name relates to its historical location outside the city limits. It serves as a popular recreation spot for residents of Oktyabrsky district, distinguished by oak plantations which set it apart from regular gardens of the central part of the city.
