Samara Embankment

Samara Embankment is a landmark attraction in Samara located along Maxim Gorky Street. Its banks were significantly renovated in the 1930s and a major reconstruction was completed in 2018. The walking area with more than four kilometers of cast-iron parapet is considered unique among Volga cities. Originally intended for piers, warehouses and markets, over time it has developed into a picturesque embankment that has become a popular city recreation spot.
