Samara State Philharmonic

Samara State Philharmonic is located at: Samara city, Frunze St., 141. The modern building was designed by architect Yuri Khramov. The first stage opened in the historical theater-circus "Olimp" building constructed in 1907 by architect Pyotr Shamanshchik. In 2001 an organ from German firm Rudolf von Beckerath was installed here. Today the theatre includes a concert hall, Crystal Foyer and exhibition space. The philharmonic began its activities with a decision by Kuibyshev Oblast Executive Committee dated April 5, 1940.
